This week, campers will explore San Francisco’s culture, landmarks, and history through fun activities at camp and a special field trip into the city. Children will learn about iconic places like the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown, Pier 39, and the cable cars through crafts, games, and storytelling. The highlight will be our field trip adventure, where campers can experience the city’s magic up close. Special Event: Mini City Festival We’ll transform camp into a mini San Francisco! Campers will visit “stations” representing iconic SF landmarks—Golden Gate Bridge craft station, Chinatown lanterns, and a cable-car photo booth. The festival will include “City Treats” for snack and a scavenger hunt around camp.

A Day at Camp: Each day begins with a gathering of singing and readings from a classic book, followed by rotations through farm activities, morning snack, hands-on agriculture or forestry lessons, and creative handicrafts. After lunch, campers will enjoy free play and relaxation before diving back into an afternoon rotation of activities - sports, nature study & science notation journals, and additional farming activities. Our After-School Pickup + STEM program makes afternoons easier—and way more fun with hands-on STEM! We safely pick up your child from school and bring them to Stemtree of Riverstone. After homework help, students explore a new hands-on STEM adventure each day—rotating through math, science, coding, robotics, and electrical engineering. Safe pickup, homework done, and STEM-powered fun—all in one place! This program runs throughout the school year. This registration is for the first 4 weeks of the school year only. In our STEM LEGO® class we use LEGO® bricks to teach concepts of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through a play-based model of learning. Kids construct a unique model each week using project instructions and LEGO kits. All models are interactive and classes are thematically linked to deepen and support a child’s understanding and vocabulary for STEM concepts. Each session covers new topics/subjects. Topics and discussions are geared for 2nd through 5th graders. Free-play time rounds outs the class giving our students an opportunity to develop their creativity.
