In this inviting 3-day art workshop, students will explore the beauty of gardens and backyard environments through a series of nature-inspired art projects. Drawing inspiration from birds, butterflies, flowers, and outdoor spaces, students will slow down, observe natural forms, and translate them into thoughtful, expressive artwork. Artists will paint and decorate a real wooden birdhouse, using color, pattern, and design to create a functional piece of art. Artists will also create a whimsical floral acrylic painting. Throughout the workshop, students will strengthen their drawing and painting skills while engaging with the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. This workshop is designed for children and teens, and groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. This camp is perfect for artists who enjoy hands-on projects, nature-inspired themes, and creating artwork that feels personal, joyful, and lasting. Children must be enrolled in First Grade, Fall 2026 and have graduated Kindergarten to attend.

Explore the world of making your own clay creations! This class will teach you how to create several hand-built clay pieces. Students will be introduced to Kiln firing, and procedures, as well as stages of clay: Wet, Greenware, Bisqueware, and more. Each student will custom glaze each project, and have all pieces fired in our kiln. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for all sessions OR our school program for discounted rate.

Spring Semester (Mid March-May) This class is for students wanting to learn all about watercolor and gouache paints. Gouache is an awesome but lesser known medium that it can be used like watercolor paint, so the techniques learned can be done with either mediums. This is an introductory course for beginners, however any experience level is welcome to attend. Spaces are limited, so sign up today!

Our most popular summer program returns for Summer 2026: Art Lab! Does your child love to engage in the process of art making and experiment with new things? If so, Art Lab! is the week for them. This week will be chock full of exploration of art materials and may include things like making fizz art using baking soda, salt resist painting, kaleidoscope making, paper marbling with shaving cream and more! Weekly Schedule Each week combines traditional camp activities with specialized Lando classes.
