In this engaging 3-day art workshop, students will explore world cultures through art, geography, and creative storytelling. Using art as a lens, artists will learn how people around the world express identity, place, and experience through visual design. This workshop is designed for children and teens, and groups students by age to support appropriate pacing, skill development, and positive peer connection. Artists will design a personalized artist passport, using self-portraiture to explore identity and representation. They will also create a map-based artwork, tapping into kids’ natural fascination with maps while learning about scale, symbols, and imaginative geography. Additional projects will be inspired by art, patterns, or landmarks from different parts of the world. Throughout the workshop, students will strengthen drawing, painting, and design skills while working with composition, symbolism, and the Elements of Art and Principles of Design. This camp encourages curiosity, global awareness, and creative problem-solving through hands-on art making . Artists must be enrolled in First Grade, Fall 2026 and have graduated Kindergarten to attend.

There is so much culture in New Haven, and we absolutely love it! Many of our campers are visiting us from around the world or spending a semester here, and we are honored to celebrate each of your unique cultures every single day. This week is extra special! We’re diving into the vibrant world of famous artists and their masterpieces. Campers will be painting on canvas, Illustrating in their own unique style, taking fun daily quizzes and learning about art through the lens of global culture. We can’t wait to explore, create, and celebrate with you!

Enter a world of imagination at our Fairy Frolic Creation Camp, where students spend the week crafting their very own magical fairy house along with a variety of enchanting fairy-themed art projects. From tiny furniture and woodland décor to whimsical paintings and sparkling accessories, each day offers a new creative adventure inspired by the fairy realm. We encourage campers to join us for the full week so they can fully build and customize their fairy house, but single-day attendance is welcome they just may not complete a full house. Every day includes a complete project that students can finish in class and bring home with pride. Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and and just plain fun! Each week we offer a variety of different media projects (acrylic painting, watercolor, plaster sculpture, mixed media, collage, printmaking, and more!). Projects change each week making it easy for campers to attend multiple weeks of camp without repeating projects, but further exploring the range and depth of mediums. We ensure a good balance between 2D and 3D projects, so whether your young artists prefers to build things and be hands on, paint, draw, or print things they'll be more than pleased! Our camps are not only fun, but an opportunity for young artists to explore art mediums that they typically do not get in school, education in art terminology and art history (including current artists). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

Spring Semester (Mid March-May) "Every child is an artist"-Pablo Picasso. Discover the artist in your child! In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

Welcome to the jungle! Explore the world of jungle habitats in this engaging 3-day art workshop inspired by tropical environments and the animals that live within them. Students will study a variety of jungle creatures and landscapes, using observation and imagination to inform their artwork. Over the course of three projects, young artists will strengthen their drawing and painting skills while working with color, texture, pattern, and layering. Instruction is guided by the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, helping students create artwork that feels both expressive and intentional. This workshop is ideal for students who enjoy animals, nature, and creative exploration, and who are excited to build strong visual skills while working through a fun, theme-based approach. Join us, every other Friday for a KIDS NIGHT OUT! We have been having such a blast with the kids on Fridays and love creating, eating pizza and now we are adding MOVIE TIME! We added movie to the night due to popular demand ( The Kids ) . The movie ( age appropriate animated kids movie) will be quietly playing in the background. If you want to check on which movie - just give us a call. Kids do not have to watch the movie and it will not be the main focus. We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Get ready to blast off on a super fun space adventure! This week, you’ll travel far beyond Earth and into outer space using your imagination and creativity. Young artists will explore the stars as they create bright, glowing galaxy paintings, experiment with cosmic colors, and learn fun techniques to make space really shine. You’ll also build your very own cardboard rocket ships, designing them with windows, fins, and special details for imaginary space missions. Along the way, you’ll create silly alien masks and other space-themed crafts, inventing friendly (or funny!) creatures from faraway planets. Each day is filled with hands-on art projects, creative play, and storytelling as we imagine life in outer space. By the end of the week, you’ll have a collection of out-of-this-world artwork to take home—and memories from an exciting creative journey through the cosmos. Spring Semester (Mid March-May) This class is for kids ages 12-16 looking to strengthen their artistic abilities and build a portfolio. Students are encouraged to develop their own style and ideas while working on specific projects selected to teach important art skills. Students work in a variety of mediums including oil, watercolor and acrylic. This class is a small group which allows for development in the areas each individual artist needs. Students will be given practice to do at home during the week to help develop and build their skills. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

A celebration of all our most-loved projects! Campers will get to revisit favorite techniques — slime, glow art, painting, sculpture, and more — with a fresh twist. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding project and casting will also included. Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel. Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. Students will showcase their pieces in an art show to guests. Parents- Invite grandparents, friends and family. All pieces go home the last day of class.
