In Music 3, children will be able to play musical patterns like clapping, patting, tapping or stomping to a beat. Their movements are coordinated and purposeful as we practice matching lyrics to choreographed movements and explore instrumental and improvisational play.

What to expect in class: Taught by amazing Mr. Steven, who is in the Reno Wind Symphony, has a Master's Degree in Music and over 10 years experience teaching children 6 mos - 5 years! Engage your little one in a multi-age music class with songs, rhythm exploration, movement to music and instrument exploration (sanitized between each use). This class provides opportunities not only to learn musical techniques, styles, and about different instruments, but also supports social and emotional development. Benefits: Physical: Sensory exploration time is supported while children practice their motor skills, which is crucial for your child’s overall development. Cognitive: Music play helps activate parts of the brain responsible for music and speech processing. It creates an early appreciation of music and supports language development. Social: Through music, you can hear and feel emotions. Tunes can be happy, sad, or angry! This supports social development in understanding emotions in a new way. Adults: You get to engage with your little one making emotional connections and strong bonds. Being involved in your child’s play helps both you feel more connected.

Our play floor comes to life with trips to the grocery store, eating pizza, finding animals, and even bugs! School is just around the corner, and in this class, you get to witness your child’s imagination come to life and be part of their learning journey.

Ease your child into independent learning. This class combines time for you and your child to explore imaginary themes together, along with a separation time where your child will enjoy a story with their friends, and visit a variety of hands-on stations to ignite their love of learning.

The Middle School Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 11-13, designed to help students refine their artistic skills while exploring different mediums and techniques. This class covers drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture, with a focus on composition, perspective, shading, and color theory. Students are encouraged to develop their unique artistic voice while building a strong foundation in both traditional and contemporary art practices.

In this class, Nicole will lead you and your little ones in 45-minutes of collaborative music making. We will connect through music while we sing, dance, move, play and pretend. We will bring sanitized instruments and props along with place markers meant to act as visual aids to help us keep a safe distance from one another.

Do they have ideas they TRULY believe in and would love to voice? Do you just want to improve their overall speech confidence while they learn how to structure and present a speech? Well, this is THEIR moment! In this awesome 1/2 Day Camp, we will: - Review the fundamentals of effective speech PERFORMANCE; - Have discussions about various TEDx Talks topics or current events; - Analyze various TED Talks; - Play multiple public speaking games and work on public speaking quick speech assignments during the class; - Learn how to STRUCTURE a TEDX Speech; - Receive instructor feedback and/or peer feedback; and - Writing and present a final TEDx Talk chosen by the student! We will also be mixing in some watercolor and acrylic projects throughout the week. Little Stars: Broadway Dance combines the magic of Broadway with a creative movement class that focuses heavily on creativity and helping young dancers discover new ways to move their bodies. Each class features music and activities that are inspired by a different Broadway Musical and designed to support fine and gross motor skills, imagination, rhythm, and body awareness while also introducing elements of formal dance classes such as a warm-up routine, “across the floor," and learning choreography in a fun, developmentally appropriate way.
