Welcome to Racquets & Swim New this summer we are expanding racquet sports to include pickle ball, badminton, and table tennis. Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont, and support from the USTA NorCal, will again offers the H.I.T.S. tennis program. This program combines the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character-building aspects of team sports in a cooperative team environment to foster sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie, responsibility, positive self-esteem, and social skills. All participants receive an H.I.T.S. t-shirt, wristband, ball, certificate, players/parents manual and more!!!

Students learn animal names, traits, and movements in Spanish—up close and safely guided. ✨ This is a camper favorite, and spots fill quickly for this week. 🦁 Learn to Talk About Animals in Spanish Through games, songs, and storytelling, campers build vocabulary as they describe animals like los leones, los osos, los tigres, and more—using Spanish naturally throughout the day. 🐾 Explore Animals by Habitat Students discover animals with 2, 4, 8, and no legs at all, learning how creatures live and move across different environments—connecting science, language, and play. 🇧🇷 Brazilian Culture + Mini Portuguese In honor of our country of focus, campers enjoy a playful introduction to Portuguese and explore Brazilian culture through crafts, music, and traditions. Throughout the week, campers strengthen their spoken Spanish and early biliteracy skills through interactive games, collaborative projects, and creative expression. 🎉 Families are invited to a weekly camper showcase, where students proudly share what they’ve learned at the end of the week. *Campers receive a daily snack, a take-home souvenir, time for lunch and all activity supplies. Where they are: Babies are just getting comfortable being out of the house and beginning to explore! What to expect in class: Our sensory baby play classes use song, movement, infant signing, puppets, fibre optics, bubbles, musical instruments and baby-sized apparatus. You’ll learn a variety of ways to play with your newest little bundle of joy. Non-mobile babies are exposed to sensory baby play, songs, and the beginnings of social play. Meet like-minded parents while our expert teachers lead you through nurturing exercises and activities that stimulate your baby’s brain development. The first stepping stone to sparking a love of learning!

For Grades 5-8 5-Session Series ** Please note that due to our class being delayed to Feb. 1 (snow cancellation of Jan. 25) our last class on Feb. 22 will be 2.5 hours with a break in between (so 4:15-6:45pm.) Each week, Broadway Little Stars introduces preschoolers to a new musical through activities inspired by the “show of the week” and designed to get them singing, dancing, and acting along. Classes are taught by professional teaching artists who are experts at engaging and educating children in fun, developmentally appropriate ways. Whether your child is ready for the spotlight or simply loves musicals, this class is for them!

Weekly Schedule Each week combines traditional camp activities with specialized Lando classes. Campers attend two Lando sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (each class offered twice weekly), with Wednesdays reserved for exciting field trips. Field & Forest Club is a balance of farm chores, outdoor adventure, classic literature, and folk songs--like going to the grandparent's farm and learning things of lasting value. New in 2026 - we're a 4H Club, too!

Now that your child has increased his or her language skills, experienced high/low, has marched to the steady beat, and has the rhythm all inside, let's apply those concepts directly to the piano! We will learn the scale, listen to famous composers and famous piano pieces, make music with sound stories, learn musical terms, strengthen our fingers, work on proper posture and hand position, learn quarter notes and half notes, and letters C,D,E all before private music lessons begin! Melody Makers is a solid foundation for piano or private music instruction! Plus, everything is better with new friends! Classes are 1 hour long each week.
