Over the years, she developed her skills further by playing in her local youth orchestra, UIL competition, lessons, and most importantly... practice! She gained performance experience in the Sherman area by playing in the Sherman Symphony Orchestra, Arco Bello Youth Orchestra and Sherman High School Orchestra. Amara is currently sudying Music Performance at Stephen F Austin State University. Amara loves music because of its ability to communicate and move individuals without words, and connect people and their cultures together.
