Experienced Babysitter/Nanny/Caregiver (children, adults, seniors, & the disabled); Tutor, Housekeeper!
I don't have much "PAID" tutoring experience; but have experience in helping/tutoring children of all ages in learning and in all different subjects; the children that I have been a nanny/babysitter for; and children within my family. Especially with math, reading and writing; which are the 3 main subjects kids seems to get stuck in. I have my GED, and 2 years of college in so far; I keep an average 3.0 GPA in all my schooling. I help out all the kids in my family, in learning their numbers, letters, and how to start off writing their names and the alphabet. I have also learned that specific activities help out in specific subjects, depending on the child's age. So I am here to help with any child in need of some tutoring and any help in school work or even not school work but basic life skills and sense.

I Love Kids Of All Ages. Small And Big. Each Student Learns Different In There Own Way.
I have been working with kids 30 plus years. I have worked with all kinds of different types of learning disabilities. I had a day-care and preschool in my home working with young children. I have raised to boys to men. I have worked in the schools as a para with all ages. I truly enjoy working with students one on one helping them find there strengths. When you help a student find there own gifts and talents, they can do anything. If you can teach them self-respect and value others we can make this a better world for all.

I have always excelled in languages. I did well in French and Latin when I was in high school. I would love to tutor anyone interested in learning French or Latin. Although I do not have experience tutoring, I love working with people and teaching. I am very passionate about teaching and I am able to explain concepts many times if a student might be struggling to understand what I am saying. I am teaching a young girl to play the piano, which is very rewarding and she is picking up the skill very quickly. I love working with her. I am also interested in tutoring people in English if they are from a foreign country. I can speak Hindi, so I would be able to teach someone English and speak in their native tongue if the student was Indian. I would love to teach anyone though if they know rudimentary English and we can communicate enough to carry on the lesson plan.

Certified Science Teacher
Certified Washington State teacher with endorsements in General Science, Biology and Middle Level Math (Grades 6-9 including Algebra and Geometry). I have my undergraduate degree from the University of Washington in Biology and Applied Math and my masters degree from Seattle University in Education. I believe everyone learns differently and students are most successful when learning is tailored to them. I approach teaching science and math by building on what the student is familiar with drawing connections to everyday life. I help my students by breaking down difficult concepts into smaller, more easily understood parts. I look forward to working with you!
