Hi there! I'm currently a stay at home Mom of two amazing young children. I am a responsible and trustworthy person who has a passion for working with children and am looking to take in a child or two. Before staying at home, I was a nanny for 4 years and then worked in child care for 10 including 8 years at a top rated NAEYC accredited school in Concord, NH. I graduated from college with a Psychology degree and went to graduate school for an Autism Spectrum Disorder Certificate. I also have experience working as a one-on-one aide in Special Education. I have a pretty flexible schedule. Our day would involve activities such as outside play, free play, music, dancing, stories, cooking, art activities, science experiments, sensory play, etc. I would focus our activities on the children's interests. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!

I am in the process of opening a home daycare centered on organic food and philosophy and preschool called Growing Tree Childcare. I have an expansive organic vegetable garden that will be providing some of the food, will be following an eco-healthy model and will become Eco-Healthy Childcare Certified. I do not use pesticides, or other chemicals. We are in Westbrook close to the Windham/Portland town lines. I have a BA from Georgetown University and a Law degree. I've been teaching children in the setting of babysitting/nannying since I was a child up until I had my three wonderful children (8, 5.5 and 2.5). I also coach minor league baseball and t-ball. Both of the other teachers have their education in early childhood development and one has been a HeadStart teacher prior to working with us. Our age spots range from 6 weeks up until 6 years. Hours are 7:30-5:15 pm and all food (breakfast, snacks and lunch). At age 2.5, children are transitioned to the preschool program at no additional cost. I am putting the finishing touches on the layout of the daycare. I plan to be open September 1 at the latest and am accepting applications now! A one week deposit secures your child's spot. In the event we are unable to open at the designated time, any deposits will be refunded. Please contact me at 286-5475 or GrowingTreeChildcareLLC@gmail.com. I look forward to helping your children grow!

Blissful Beginnings

5 Fox Run Road Falmouth, ME

I am a stay-at-home mom offering affordable, reliable childcare. I provide your child with a happy, cheery, energetic, nurturing, clean and safe home environment to thrive in their early childhood. I believe in respecting each child's interests and abilities, as well as to provide a safe, nurturing place to take risks and provide opportunities to practice newly learned skills. I strive to offer routines and activities that are age-appropriate and fun! All children learn at different rates and learn best through play and activities that allow autonomy, control and as much practice / repetition as is necessary to master new skills and to discover and develop their own interests. As a mother of four, I believe that your family is your child's first and most important teacher. Your perspective and insights, goals and desires for your child are essential to provide a great program. I stay open regardless of weather! I am also open school vacation weeks, holidays (except Christmas) and snow days! I am available to work with your schedule as I know how hard it is to balance family and work! I also offer before and after-school care to grade school children. Please email me with your inquiries!
