I previously worked in the insurance industry for over 15 years and recently returned to college to pursue my degree in human services. I've volunteered at Dakin, walking and feeding dogs. Also, performed enrichment activities for the dogs. Worked in the dixie area with quarantined puppies providing enrichment. I also washed dishes and folded laundry. I have a cat and a dog. In the past, I've owned birds and fish, as well as small animals. I'm passionate, hard-working, and love helping animals and people. When I set out to do something, I don't stop until I accomplish it.

I have been pet sitting and daily dog walking for a family over the past three summers while home on break from college. I am continuing to help them this fall as needed when the dog doesn't go to day care. My responsibilities include daily walks and exercise, grooming, feeding, and engaged playing.

Though I am only 20 years of age, my life has been packed with animal care experience. As a child, my parents rehabilitated a variety of wild animals (mostly squirrels), which I helped them care for. In high school I volunteered at my local shelter for years walking dogs, working in the kitten ICU, and caring for small animals. Upon entering college, I worked as an Animal Caregiver at Dakin Humane Society and was eventually promoted to an Animal Care Specialist. Dakin gave me a fair amount of medical experience with animals, so I am very adept at caring for animals with medical issues. I also worked at Pet smart as a bather, and so have some professional bathing and light grooming experience. I live and breathe animals of all shapes and sizes, and have a strong empathy and love for them. If I take care of your pet, I am putting 100% effort in at all times.

Hello! I am currently a freshman at FSU but I am originally from Massachusetts. I had a Shih Tzu for 6 years but he passed away over the summer due to his age:-( I am looking to start pet sitting/ dog walking more because I miss having pups in my life!
