My Philosophy:
I believe all children are precious and a gift from God. They deserve to be loved, cared for, and taught morals and values that will benefit them in their future. Children need to be nurtured and should be taught the basic fundamentals of everyday living. They should feel safe in their environment and feel free to express themselves. I believe in teaching academics from the beginning of life. I strive to teach each child to be a student of excellence. Every child should be praised for good behavior and encouraged to do their best. We build each other up through teamwork and cheering each other on. Children learn by music, color, dance, arts and crafts and most important by example.

We are so grateful to have found Mrs. Cynthia! As first time parents with no family near by, we were understandably nervous about finding someone to leave our baby with. Our first meeting with Cynthia put all that nervousness at ease. She is so wonderful not only as a daycare provider, but as a person in general. You can tell she truly cares about the children in her care, and with her years of experience she is a total pro. She always sends us pictures and updates throughout the day that make me feel like I can still be involved even though I'm at work, and her house is impeccably clean! I'm never worried when I drop her off in the morning because I know she will be well taken care of and I will be kept in the loop if anything every happens. Elle loves her NaNa, and we do too :-)

We have reopened now enrolling infants.

We follow all state and federal guidelines for covid 19.

We have been licensed and certified since 1986 to provide excellent infant and toddler care for a small group of children. Parents appreciate the safe home environment with no staff changes. Two full time female adult caregivers love and nurture the whole child. I provide diapers and nutritious meals and snacks.
I believe good quality child care is very important for the child's development now and in the future. Our parents go to work knowing we will do our best to provide a safe, fun and educational day for all the children we love and care for. We enjoy spending the day with children as they laugh, play and learn with friends. A small group allows us to provide daily age appropriate enrichment activities. Our limited enrollment provides the best of both worlds - an opportunity for your child to interact with other children without getting lost in a crowd. Daily circle time includes songs, finger plays and story time to foster a love of music and reading. The outdoor play area is large (fenced) with baby & toddler swings, slides, climbers, lots of balls and toys. The some of the activities taught daily include colors, shapes, letters and numbers.
We follow all state and local ordinances-this includes a minimum of 5 unannounced inspections a year. It will bring you great peace of mind when you can drop your child off knowing they will be well cared for and will enjoy their day!

Licensing requires background checks and health screening for caregivers.

All the children are vaccinated and healthy.

We provide childcare for children, 6 weeks - 15 months.

Rates are determined by the hours and days childcare is provided.

No smoking or pets on the property.

Hello, my name is Gina. I have been a licensed teacher for the state of Virginia, am licensed through social services and have over 20 years of early childhood care experience. I have a 14-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter. I have owned my own home child care business and I have taught as a preschool teacher outside of my home. I went back to school to try my hand at teaching high school history and social studies but after my first year teaching realized my heart is in early child hood. So I now own and operate Town Center Childcare out of my home. This is an intimate home child care setting with one adult (that's me!) to a maximum of 7 kids - a perfect environment for building close relationships that will enable growth and learning. We are conveniently located near Town Center of Virginia Beach. Please contact me for more information. I look forward to getting to know all of my new families! If I am currently full please feel free to call and leave me your information. I will place you on a wait list in case a current family needs to leave for any reason. Thank you!

My son and I absolutely love Ms. Gina and her family! She was always so professional, responsiveness, attentive and supportive over the years. I cannot imagine how I would of coped without knowing that my son was in a safe, educational and fun place every day. What he learned with Ms. Gina, as well as the warmth and respect that he was shown, has enabled him to be outgoing, independent and respectful of others. I am so proud of him and thankful to Ms. Gina and her family for their continued support, help and guidance over the years. Ms. Gina also goes on amazing field trips with the kids, always had them outside playing (whether permitting) and had great activities planned like playing in the sprinkler, jumping in a bouncy house and so many other great activities! I recommend Town Center Childcare and Ms. Gina to absolutely everyone!
