In my home care for kids age 0-6 during the day. I also offer after school care for kids. Snacks and play. Help with homework if need be. My home is a safe haven for kids to just play and enjoy themselves while away from caregivers and or parents. I never have more than 6 kids at one time , at any given time. If weather permits, I like to walk to our local parks or sit outside with the kids in my yard on our mini jungle gym. Limited screen time here but a movie night is fun as well. I do overnight care short term as well. I have a limited personal kids library collection but I do trips to the local library every week to keep them entertained. I do need to update my CPR and first aid but I am no stranger to the safety and precautions when it comes to little ones. I would describe my home and the environment as clean(not always tidy with kids running about) safe, caring and relaxed (I don't cry about spilled milk or writing on the wall). I also do not discipline children in any fashion. I redirect and separate and comfort. A hug and an open ear goes a long way sometimes. Violence is absolutely not tolerated in my home. Any child or parent that jeopardizes the safety of the kids in my care or myself will be banned from my home and care. I also am available for date night drop offs or long weekends. Dates as available. I understand and take all allergies into consideration. However, I have a cat and a dog so it is best to not have these types of allergies and come into my care. The animals are child friendly and NEVER left alone with any child (excluding my own) at any time, for any reason. Prices vary per children and the schedule they are in my care.
