AMAZING! We were very sad when our LO had to graduate. It was very hard for us to adjust from an in home atmosphere with a low ratio to being in a large center. Our daughter was in the Johnson's care from 12 wks until 2. The care and attention they paid to my LO and my family being new parents was very reassuring and I never had any doubt or concern about my child's welfare while in there home or care. They communicated with us daily about they care and education they were providing. Our new preschool teacher was very impressed with our LO when she started and the knowledge and language skills she had developed, and it was all fostered by the environment Pam and Inez provided. I could write for days about how wonderful they are. Ms. Johnson is also licensed by the state with regular inspections. The rules are simple, pay on time and turn in your paperwork. In our time of being there i never saw a child or parent enter or leave without a smile on their face.

Thank you Laura we enjoyed everyday she was in our care and miss you all.I will always remember her precious little face when she was learning to crawl and the sweet sound of her voice when singing.I feel sad for parents when they must return to work.I want to make sure every child is happy and thriving while in my home day care. The love in your family is reflected in the kindness your daughter showed her friends. We feel blessed to have been chosen to provide her care.We will be here in the future should you need care.Thank you for understanding the importance of quality care for children.

Pam and Inez are the most caring and kind women on the planet. They are AMAZING with babies and children and they love and keep your children like they are one of theirs own. Their childcare facility is immaculate!! Always spotless and colorful for the children.
They provide food, formula (if needed), diapers ... everything. They make it easy for the parents to drop your child off. No carrying huge bags of food and diapers! I never worried one day when my daughter was with Oam and Inez because I knew that hey loved and cared for my daughter so well. They invest in the children and it shows.
We still visit them whenever we can because we think of them as family.

When we interviewed with them, they took our daughter at 8 weeks and she flourished amazingly. My daughter LOVES them both to this day.

You all had several choices for infant childcare when your daughter was young. You understood a licensed and certified family daycare would give your daughter the care very young children need to be ready for a large daycare center of preschool. We have been very blessed to love and provide care for your daughter. She was like a little sponge always excited to play learn and socialize with friends. She is growing up to be a beautiful kind and compassionate young lady. She is just like both of you but still her own person. Thanks for being part of our family daycare home.

I cannot say enough wonderful and amazing things about Pam and Inez. My husband and I both work full-time and since day one when we dropped her off I know my daughter is in the best hands and well taken care of. I know for working moms that can be a scary thing leaving your child with someone all day when you are at work, but with Pam and Inez I never had to worry at all and I am glad we choose them to care for our child. The center is always spotless and the children are always happy. Pam does a wonderful job with communicating with the parents and is so nurturing to the kids.

We have enjoyed watching her grow from a tiny baby to a beautiful energetic little girl.We will miss the sounds of her laughter talking and singing in our home when she moves on to school. Thanks for letting us provide care and for traveling out of your way everyday and sitting in traffic.Best wishes to your family.
My wife and I were definitely concerned about sending our child to a daycare, but Pamela made us feel at ease immediately. We started our son at 8 weeks old and from the first day we felt 100 percent comfortatable with leaving our son with her and Inez. The environment is always friendly, and my son is always in a great mood when we pick him up. The daycare is always clean, quiet and is a relaxing atmosphere. Pam is a godsend and I could not imagine leaving my son with anybody else, never mind a larger daycare center.

I chose this daycare about a month before I was due. I met with Pam and Inez three times before my son was born. After he was born I took him to see Pam and Inez twice before he started the daycare. I was very confident in the daycare that I chose for my son. We emailed back and forth just about every week before the start date. Well he was suppose to start on Nov 14th but we didn't have the paperwork ready, which was totally my fault, I forgot to have the doctor sign the paperwork that Monday at his appt. So he started nov 15th instead. So after his first day Pam said he was fussy, he wouldn't take a nap, he startled easily, and she had to hold him a lot. My son was 8 weeks old at the time, so all of this was very true, I mean what do you expect from a newborn that's been around his mother for 8 weeks all day everyday. So I felt horrible because he had a bad day in daycare. Well she told me that evening that we didn't fill out the emergency contact info and I tried to do it, but she hurried me out the door. So I told my husband to sign it when he dropped him off Friday morning. He said Pam wouldn't let him sign the paperwork. So I go to pick him up on Friday which is day two of daycare. I walk in around 330pm and she told me that he couldn't come back to daycare and that he needed home daycare or someone that had time to hold him all the time. After two days she kicked him out of daycare and didn't give him any time to adjust to being there. So at 4 o'clock on a Friday she's telling me I can't bring my son back to daycare. How would anyone find childcare for the following Monday that quickly. The contract states that we give each other 10 day notice. She wouldn't let me sign the paperwork because she already knew she wasn't going to let him stay at the daycare. The daycare that I chose before he was born. I'm very disappointed in how she left me high and dry on a Friday after two days of daycare. So just be aware that if she doesn't want to take the time for your child to adjust, she will leave you high and dry. I can't rate the daycare for the actual services because my son was only there for two days. I chose the daycare because I thought it was a great one. Well I was deprived of a chance to see if it was actually a good one or not. So my rating is based on the fact that she didn't honor the contract and she didn't want to take the time for my son to adjust. Two days of being in daycare and my son was kicked out for being what most would call a baby.

I am licensed by the commonwealth of Virginia,Department of Social Services. In order to have a family day home license, I am required to follow a minimum set of standards.I explained that all paperwork must be completed before care begins. The forms were not completed properly and were lacking necessary signatures. The parent information from clearly states withdrawal when: 1. Lack of payment 2. Child's age 3. Child's behavior 4.Parent or child's needs cannot be met. However I have never had a 10-day notice policy. In this specific situation,I informed the mother that I would give her the paperwork the next day when she picked him up.The child's father wanted to sign all necessary paperwork so I let him know that they could take the forms home to complete and bring back the following day.I told her he was fussy, but did nap both morning and in the afternoon for 20 minutes at a time. Our home daycare is a 3-to-1 ratio. Our environment of group care is not like being at home, and sometimes young babies have a hard time adjusting.I told the mother that I held him frequently to help calm his crying, as I don't just leave a baby to cry. It is very bad for brain development and it is important to me that each child in my care receives all the love and attention they need.Regardless of our attempts in comforting he was unable to adjust to this environment and thus ,needed a different type of care. My goal is to give parents' a strong sense of comfort knowing that we are providing their children with education, socialization and a overall happy and safe environment.
