I have several years experience of working in Senior Care. When I retired from my career as a Flight Attendant I knew it was time for a new career. I chose Senior Care because I cared for both of my parents in their later years. It was time to give back to them . I have worked for a few Senior Care providers in the Virginia Beach area and in the last year made the decision to work independently. I provide assistance for activities of daily living such as , med reminders, meal prep, light housework, transportation to appointments and shopping. I have also worked with people with memory care issues and dementia. I love the work that I do and find great satisfaction in caring for the elderly. I am mature and responsible and dependable. I can provide references besides the ones that are listed here with my current person that I care for. I am available for weekend work. I love animals of all breeds and I do not smoke.

Diane worked for me from September 2018 - April 1 2019 full time until I moved my Mom into a home. She still helps me with doctors appointments, washing and setting her hair and being a friend to my mother to help her through this hard transition. She is like a daughter to my Mom and a sister to me. I couldn't have handled Mom in her home without her. You won't find anybody more dependable, intelligent and caring. I highly recommend her.

Providing Care Just Like You Are Family

Having a heart for doing companion care; I personally invest in each client I spend time with. I understand that choosing a person with the right heart is critical. Everyone's needs may be different, but everyone I care for will be treated with kindness, compassion, dignity and respect. I feel communication with the family is just as important. My friends and family would tell you that I am kind, compassionate, and have a good sense of humor. I love God, my family, and am a huge animal advocate. My position in a nursing home and years of one-on-one care offers understanding and experience with dementia, bathing, meals, medication reminders, incontinence, assisting with mobility, outings and appointments. Light chores are not an issue. My goal is to meet each person's needs while making them as comfortable, happy, and safe as possible. I have an FBI background check, CPR and First Aid Cert. Please reach out to me for the care of your loved one.

She's a Christian pure in heart and spirit. Always wanting to be of help. Really shared her time and talents with my mom, making crafts, cards, singing, bingo, scrabble to name a few. Eager to not only help my mom, but also my entire family. Punctual, trusting, funny, compassionate, thoughtful, It is obvious she loves what she does. On weekends or days Sally wasn't here, mom would ask, "When is Sally coming back?" Mom says, Sally is good for her. I say Sally is a blessing to our family.
