Provider/ owner has a degree in Early Childhood Education, National CDA, former Pre-K and GSRP teacher, and former Program Director. We also continue our education every year by taking a minimum of 20 hours in Professional Development Training each year. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, and assistant has over 5 years of experience. About our preschool program: We use Mother Goose Time curriculum that includes monthly themes. We work on social emotional, physical, language and literacy, math and reasoning, science, social studies, problem solving, and creative development skills. Mother Goose Time meets and exceeds the State of Michigan Standards. Parent teacher conferences twice per year, Ages and Stages assessments, and a keepsake portfolio. Children three and four years old receive weekly dance instruction from a technique-trained and experienced dance instructor, along with built-in practice throughout the week with their leaders. Preschool group piano lessons. Children four years old receive weekly group piano lessons through the Diaz School of Piano (DSoP). This will include ongoing updates as well as performances for their parents. Three year olds will begin by being introduced to piano music, moving to piano music and learning the hand motions and fine motor skills – the ability to control finger movements – in these early stages of development at this age, in preparation for group piano lessons and learning to play the piano.
