Mission Statement
Our mission is to educate youth in a liberating and spiritual environment to help them build a solid foundation physically, spiritually, and mentally. Scripture: Psalm 22:6 "Train a child up in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart." It is the goal ofthis organization to provide quality, loving care to each child through:
A safe, healthy, and home-like environment that encourages trusting, secure relationships based on love and acceptance between staff, children, and parents.
A place where children can grow and develop on every level of their personality (physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, spiritually) to his/her fullest potential.
A premium Christian curriculum that establishes strong foundations for future learning by using a center-based learning environment using guided, purposeful play and a relevant, progressive scope and sequence
Helping children build proper relationships with the authorities in their lives
Encouraging children to apply the Word to their lives daily (Proverbs 2:1-5)
Mentoring through relationships and Godly examples
Meeting children at their level of development
PROGRAM GOALS
It is the overall goal of our program to help children develop and learn to their fullest potential and prepare them for future learning by:
PHYSICALLY
Providing ample space, inside and outside to exercise large and small muscles
Teaching and encouraging healthy habits and good nutrition
Providing regular "hands-on" activities that allow children to engage all their senses
MENTALLY
Planning activities that encourages questions, problem solving, and discovery
Planning events that stir up curiosity, leading to assessment, prediction, and choices
Providing daily opportunities to increase vocabulary, verbal skills, and language skills
Allowing interactive group experiences that invite personal insights and participation
SOCIALLY
Establishing an environment that sets limits with some freedom
Providing a system of redirecting through questions when needed
Allowing opportunities to practice good manners and cooperation
Demonstrating value and respect toward others
Teaching how to work together responsibly
EMOTIONALLY
Focusing on each child's efforts, not the outcome
Providing activities that ensure a child's success, allow for choices and are fun
Helping each child work appropriately through negative feelings, with love and acceptance
