Salem Lutheran ECC is a Christian early childhood center offering preschool educational programs. Class offerings are available up to five mornings a week, with optional extended care available before and after school. Each program gives children a chance to interact with others while learning and having fun. We provide a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for the children.

Preschool for 3 and 4 year old children: Choose from two, three, four, or five day-a-week class offerings. Your child starts the educational journey at Salem learning personal responsibility, decision-making, and cooperation using a Christian-based approach. The academic curriculum includes fundamentals of literacy, art, mathematics, physical education, music, and religion. The school day begins at 9:00 am and ends at noon.

Extended Care Enrichment: Extended care enrichment includes art, cooking, science, music, and games, as well as recreation and rest. Extended care is available before school from 7:30 a.m. and after school as late as 5:30 p.m.

Mom's Morning Out: Beginning at age 18 months, this program is offered one morning per week. Your child is introduced to a school environment with music and movement, story time, Jesus time, and socialization with other children.

At Salem Lutheran Early Childhood Center, our vision is to provide quality Christian education with a unique combination of academic rigor and nurturing. Children are taught in a loving environment that emphasizes respect, sharing, getting along with others, and learning while having fun.

Our Center is licensed by the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services. Our experienced staff members meet or exceed DCFS requirements for teachers. No child is discriminated against because of race, color, sex, religion, national or ethnic origin. Any child with special needs will be considered on an individual basis.
