Loving, Experienced And Passionate Nanny

Avg response < 7 hrs
Hi, I am Shalom. I am 34 years old. I have extensive training and experience caring for infants, toddlers and children, including multiples. I am a professional, qualified and responsible nanny, who is very passionate about working as an early childcare educator. I don't only take care of basic physical needs like safety, good nutrition and good hygiene. I also work with the parents and do my best to help the children I care for, grow and develop to their fullest potential by forming good habits, having good manners, being fair, courteous and considerate of others. I teach them to be able to solve problems on their own. Also to have a positive self image, I encourage them to express their feeling and desires and to use their creativity. My philosophy of teaching good behavior is through positive reinforcement, making sure they are listened, feel loved and respected and given as much attention as possible; and if needed give them timeouts, I think the important thing is good communication and to be consistent. I take the children I care for to fun outings: parks, museums, libraries, theaters so they can explore have fun and learn new things and interact with different people. I also have experience as an ESL teacher. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid, Infant & Child Health and Safety, Child Development-Ages and Stages, Age Appropriate Activities, Building Positive Self Concepts in Children, Nutrition and Feeding. I am fun, have lots of ideas and skills for crafts and teaching. I am very good at preparing healthy snacks, purees and meals for the children I care for, also have a lot of experience and techniques for feeding. I am very organized and don't mind doing housework, including, laundry, cleaning, dishes, sweeping and keeping rooms clean and straight. I am patient and responsible. I have lived in MD for the last 9 years working as a nanny. Before that, I lived in Brazil where I worked as a nanny and teacher for 4 years. I absolutely love children.

Highly recommend this daycare! Shohreh is very experienced in looking after and teaching kids, she loves kids and always has a good way to educate kids, she is very professional, actually we parents learn a lot from her about how to get along with kids. And she has various interesting learning topics for the kids during the year. Also the daycare has large indoor and outdoor play space with many toys and facilities. My daughter has a very happy time in Shohresh's daycare, she doesn't want to leave in the afternoon when I pick up her, sometimes she asks to go to Shohreh's at weekend. So if you are looking for a daycare, highly recommend contacting her for a tour!

Welcome to the Learn, Play & Grow Daycare program. I have 10 years of pre-K teaching experience. My goal is to provide a safe, secure environment for your child that fosters physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. My program serves children from infants through 5 years old. Activities are designed to provide stimulating experiences for the children where they can learn through their own inquisitiveness.

Art, music, language, math and science activities geared to little hands activities such as playing dress up, building with blocks and experimenting at the are also introduced.

We offer the tenderness, warmth and patience so essential to this young age. Children feel comfortable in our setting when their parents leave. Deep respect for each child ensures that your child will truly love his or her school environment and, from that, develop and long-lasting love for learning.

We absolutely love the Learn, Play & Grow Daycare and Mrs. Ana! Mrs. Ana is so wonderful with the children and it's obvious how much the children adore her. Our 18 month old daughter gets excited every morning that she gets to go see Mrs. Ana and the other children. Mrs. Ana makes the learning fun and is constantly coming up with new arts & crafts activities for them. She also has a great outdoor space, which the children love. She is in constant communication with the parents and is always sending pictures and videos of what the children did that day. Not only has Mrs. Ana created a fun and caring environment for the children, she also has made it incredibly safe, which we are so thankful for, especially during this pandemic. Masks are mandatory at drop off & pick up, temperature checks each morning, washing hands coming in and leaving each day, sanitizing all of the toys and equipment daily are just some of the measurements put in place to keep the children safe and healthy. Overall, we could not be more pleased with the Learn, Play & Grow Daycare and how Mrs. Ana cares for and treats the children. We can not wait for our newborn baby boy to be able to go here too!

Manjula has been a wonderful nanny to us ! She took care full time of our two daughters over the last two years and a half. We are very lucky to have found her. She started looking after them when my younger daughter was 2 months, and my elder one was 2 years and a half. She is very kind, thoughtful and experienced. Both my daughters loved her so much! . The best thing about having Manjula as a nanny was that we did not have to worry about the girls during the day, knowing that they were being well-cared for. Manjula treated our daughters like family. Our daughters especially enjoyed going with her to the neighborhood playground, to the library and to occasional playdates. In addition, Manjula makes delicious food from fresh and good ingredients. She is a very hardworking and honest person. We had a great experience with Manjula and we are very grateful to her for looking after our daughters so well.We highly recommend her ! Our younger daughter has now started pre-school, and Manjula has opened her own family daycare. We wish her the best in her new endeavour, and we are sure that the new children coming to her daycare will be very well cared for. Helene and Jean-Sebastien
