Child-Care With Educational & Homework Assistance!

Avg response < 9 hrs
Hello, My name is Silvia, and I am a virtual Spanish Instructor and a graduate student. As an instructor, I have experience with children ages 4 to 18, and background with disabilities. Teaching and caring for children is not only my passion but the reason why I am an instructor and tutor. However, due to Maryland schools closing due to Covid-19, I have the opportunity to help any family in need of child care. Although kids will be missing school, my goal is to keep them on track through homework assistance while offering child-care. - I am reliable and have transportation. - Available throughout the week and weekends. - Available for pickups, taking kids to appointments and doing errands. - Highly energetic and responsible. - Love pets! & I have no allergies!

Silvia is amazing, I'm still sad that school has started again and she won't be at our house every morning:( Silvia was a caregiver, teacher, and adventure planner for my four year old and almost two year old for the past six months when I decided to keep my kids out of daycare. She had exciting plans for every day she was at our housekeeping the kids engaged in learning and away from the TV, which is an easy alternative during this pandemic. She got my kids into a solid routine, including daily lessons, ample outdoor time and cuddles:) She also found time to teach both kids Spanish- my nearly two year old can count to ten in Spanish! Silvia is an absolute delight and in six months, did not call out even once. We miss her terribly and can't wait for her to come visit!

We LOVE our HLC family. This center has been a great fit for our daughter. She is always excited to see Ms. Marielos in the morning and never wants to leave! Unfortunately we missed a few months when COVID first took hold and we started to notice a difference as our daughter was not talking and communicating as much. We are so happy to be back. We can't say enough great things about HLC.
