Debbie took care of my step-father for 8 months until he had to go into a care home. Debbie is very caring and would bring my step-father items from her own home if she thought it would be helpful to him. She also took his little dog for walks, and the dog loved her. She dealt with problems my step-father has such as dementia, insulin help, medication reminders, meal prep, light cleaning, and companionship. She always kept us informed of any changes or concerns she saw. She really helped our family out in a very difficult time. Thank you so much Debbie!

My passion started with my Mom and her experience with Alzheimer's. Working with the professional care giver that we hired to assist, I recognized my own passion for helping people who are unable to help themselves. I started working with an individual who had congenital heart failure, diabetes and fluid intake limitations. I cooked, grocery shopped, bathed, and provided spiritual care. From this job as an independent care giver I went to work for an agency and increased my skills through hands on training. I am able to do bed baths, medication monitoring, implemented documentation of care to be shared from one provider to the next. I am able to do range of motion exercises, and stimulation of the mind through educational puzzles, games, etc. I am able to bring back a level of normalcy in that I am willing to assist them in completing their favorite activities from the past such as gardening, cooking, reading, and arts/crafts. I am a Caregiver.

Susan took care of my parents from July 2018 through July 2019. Both my parents suffered from Alzheimer's. Susan brought so much happiness into the last year of their lives it was amazing to see. She was a true friend to my mom. The joy and commitment she brought to work every day was infectious. I always felt safe when Susan was with them. She worked tirelessly for them and always went the extra mile without ever being asked. I'm happy to speak with anyone that is considering hiring Susan.
