Weekend caregiver needed for 79-year-old female under hospice care in home. Patient is mostly bed-bound, needs assistance with dressing,meds, getting to commode/bathroom, sponge bathing, brushing teeth, changing sheets, light laundry, Meal prep and clean up, companionship. Looking to fill several shifts to cover weekends.
Patient is mostly bed bound and watches TV/movies, sleeps and has visitors on occasion. Needs assistance getting to the recliner in the living room as a change of pace.
Patience and empathy. Our mom needs to be treated with gentleness as she can be confused often due to the pain killers and meds. She is not at all aggressive and sleeps more often than not.
Home has parking.
