Hello, my name is Charleen, the founder of "Invasion of the Little People" which We are a safe haven for children to explore and develop in the eight cores of Child Development and demonstrates knowledge and skills in using developmentally appropriateguidance approaches. This would include redirection, positive reinforcement, effective praise and encouragement and problem solving skills. Originally started in Baltimore County 1991 thru 2007, has now reopened in Howard County in 2/2013. We currently recruiting for Invasion of the Little People, We have openings for infants, toddlers, and preschool age children. I was a former Assistant teacher in Head Start Program for 13 years, this allowed me to increase my knowledge in Early Childhood Education. I worked at some of the finest childcare organizations in Columbia; Kinder Care Learning Center, Knowledge of Beginning, Recreation and Parks, and Columbia Association. In addition, I obtained my Child Development Associate, 90 hours in Early Child Development, 45 hours in Infant, Toddler and School Age Development.
