Costimate: $219/wk

At Bambini Child Care children are born with tremendous potential and capacity for learning across all developmental domains: physical, cognitive, emotional, language, and social development. Here at BCC we believe that purposeful play is developmentally appropriate and an important part of a child's intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. Our children are viewed as thinkers, reflecting about their world through play. They are encouraged to gain knowledge by building their own path of learning through hands on activities at their individual pace with guidance from the adults in their lives. We are located in the Owen Brown neighborhood and within walking distance to the East Columbia Library and Lake Elkhorn.

We are now excepting children ages 2-6.

***We are also excepting school age child who are enrolled in online learning!

My son goes to Bambini Child Care, which is run by Nina Harris. We love Nina as our 4 year old son has thrived since attending her childcare center. She is very passionate about his education as well as his general well being. Within 1 month of attending Bambini Child Care, she taught my son to read. She has an individualised teaching plan for each of her students, based on their strengths and areas of improvement, which show her commitment to their education. Also, when my son is at Bambini Child Center, I am never worried about his well being in any way. I highly recommend Nina Harris and her child care center to any parent.

Eva Day Care

6137 Quiet Times, Columbia, MD

Starting at $200/wk

I have been a teacher for the last 25 years and in 2000 I decided to open a home daycare that centered around Montessori teachings. In my time as a teacher and home daycare provider, I have taught reading, writing, music, art and math to young children. Under my care children will have circle time, story telling, exercise, and playground time.

Teaching is my passion and I believe that teaching can begin as early as the age of one; I teach my children sounds of letters and before 3 years old, they are reading 3 lettered words. While I believe in teaching children core skills before they reach their school years, I also fundamentally believe in play. I love singing to my kids and enjoy dancing with them! I make sure that they have time to enjoy being outside and playing with their peers.

I also serve free breakfast, snacks and lunch. Parents can also witness the progress and development of their kids through their projects and events that I host annually.

I host holiday and seasonal parties that children help with. Parents can enjoy a program complete with a concert from their kids, food, and beverages.

I hope to continue to serve the community and showcase my love for children through my home daycare.

Ms. Eva is a very caring & patient individual who loves her job and is naturally gifted at it. She is transparent and forthcoming about their daily activities and makes sure that the kids stay active by creating different arts and crafts, also playing out when the weather is suitable for it. She teaches them how to read and write just enough in a fun & dynamic manner. Likewise, she teaches them history, geography & fun interesting subjects. You will be learning one or two things from child. My 4 years old daughter is able to read 2 & 3 letter words. Ms. Eva is incredible!
