3 YEAR OLD HALF-DAY PRESCHOOL/4 YEAR OLD HALF DAY PRESCHOOL:
Preschool teachers utilize a variety of activities that include organized and free play, games, art, field trips, language development, physical fitness/wellness, music and reading readiness skills. Students enjoy a loving environment within small class sizes.
TRANSITIONAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN:
4 year-olds and young 5 year-olds learn about God and the world around them in a developmentally appropriate, play-based learning environment. Children learn essential pre-literacy, pre-math and self-regulation skills needed to succeed in school and life. The TPK classroom offers a complete educational program of organized and free play, skill development, creative growth and social integration within the context of a Catholic Christian environment. School day: Monday-Friday, 8:15-2:45 (before and after "Extended Day" program available)
ALL-DAY KINDERGARTEN:
Unique to the area, STM offers full-day Kindergarten. The academic and play-based experiences address the needs of the whole child-spiritually, cognitively, socially, physically and emotionally. These active learners explore, build, experiment and problem solve with their teachers, aides and classmates in a Catholic Christian environment.
Kindergarten students participate in specialized instruction in art, music, Spanish and physical education. Speech and Reading Support are available. Extracurricular sports offered to Kindergarteners are Little Dribblers basketball, Little Runners track and field and Little Peps cheerleading.
School Day: Monday-Friday, 8:15-3:05 (Busing available, before and after "Extended Day" program available)
