Oak Glen Montessori

Oak Glen Montessori School offers a full-time, year-round Montessori program for infants, toddlers and students in preschool. Our safe, stable environment enables children to develop self-confidence, independence, inner discipline and a love for learning. Our children learn and progress in a nurturing, caring environment that gives a feeling of family and enhances the child's love of learning and respect for others. We strive to excel in educating young children through our progressive curriculum and abundant resources.

Here, every child progresses through each stage of development through stimulating learning activities and lots of positive reinforcement. We teach the whole child, and strive to develop their cognitive skills, social and emotional skills and physical skills. Children are taught language development, reading, math skills, botany, geography, art, practical life skills, and music and movement through proven teaching methods and exceptional materials that are designed to involve the whole child in the learning process.

For children to learn, you must create an engaging learning environment for them. Our spacious classrooms are clean, bright and inviting. We've designed them to be developmentally appropriate to the age group that uses it. Our campus is located on beautifully wooded and spacious grounds, perfect for children to participate in gardening, learning about nature and the environment, and of course, plenty of outdoor play.

Our educators are not only warm and nurturing, they are all qualified. We believe in professional development through on-going training. We invest in our teachers and provide core initiatives to keep our staff knowledgeable, happy and motivated.

We encourage parents (and grandparents!) to be involved in their child's care and education at Oak Glen Montessori School. Parents are always welcome, as are your suggestions.
