About
Nonotuck Community School curriculum is play-based and inspired by
progressive early childhood education theory. Curriculum emerges
from the children s interests and is sparked by their teachers
enthusiasms.
We emphasize community, emotionalintelligence and resilience and
provide ample opportunities for cognitive, artistic, social, emotional,
and physical development throughout the school day. In addition to
our well-appointed classrooms, children have daily access to indoor
and outdoor play spaces, an art studio, yoga instruction, gardening,
cooking, and more.
We are a licensed child care center, serving children from 15 months to 5 years. We are a parent cooperative, open all year.
Open 7:30am 5:30pm; core day is 8:30am 3:30pm
