I am open 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. There will be a curriculum, it all depends on the age of kids.
Infant - we will work on Tummy time, baby sign language, playing, doing
things babies like to do. I will provide bottles and carnationGood Start formula. Toddler - We will work on potty training, learning our ABC, colors, shapes, numbers, animals, and what the theme of the month. Preschooler - Getting ready for Kindergarten writing our names first and last, Phone number, Address, ABC, shapes, numbers, animals. I plan to also find those teachable moments to help with the creativity and knowledge. School age- Work on homework, playing games, helping with younger kids, and playing with friends. We plan on having special enrichments at least once a month such as a music teacher, storyteller, Spanish teacher who will come into my home and teach us something new and fun. Some daily activities Story time Arts/Crafts Baking/ cooking projects Small muscle (puzzles,blocks,etc.) Large Muscle Sensory (water/sand table ') Writing Dramatic play specially selected TV Field trips Learning Reading tree FUN LOVING ENVIRONMENT I worked at New Horizon Academy for about 3 years. I have experience in all ages and finished working in the Older preschool room as the teacher. I love working with kids and have so much fun. I found that having my own child care would give me more opportunities to expand children's creativity. I am licensed by the state of Texas Human service Department. I am also be fully insured.
