Our mission is to provide an educational experience for young children that can prepare them to be world Ambassadors. With an open, interdisciplinary approach to learning, higher academic standards for the state of Virginia are followed. This trilingual immersion program emphasizes the arts, culture and expression of Latin America, China and the United States in an international setting that invites students to explore the world. At the Metzger Academy, academic excellence is paired with emotional intelligence to provide a setting that encourages the youths to be attentive, conscientious and successful. Students prosper in the intimate setting of a home care facility that is loving, caring and healthy. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are served daily and prepared in house. We are cloth diaper friendly and work to accommodate any of our students' needs.

Our son loved his time at the Metzger Academy. It has an incredibly warm and nurturing environment. He felt like the Metzger Academy was his second home.

Metzger Academy is a wonderful, educational daycare! My son was able to attend for a short time before we moved and I have not been able to find another daycare that holds a candle to Ms.Maria's program for the children. They learn Spanish, Mandarin, Ballet, and Piano! All the meals are homemade and most importantly they supported my decision to use cloth diapers!!

Our son attended Metzger for 2 years and we had a positive experience to say the least. He is now in elementary school and I truly believe that the strong foundation he received at Metzger Academy has allowed him to thrive. Featuring home cooked meals, Chinese and Spanish instruction, soccer, ballet, and light academics their home environment offers the best of both worlds . Each year we received a binder detailing our son's progress in art and academics. When love for your child and career jockey for prime attention, it's hard to make a decision as to where one's children are when they are out of your care. Questions range from "Will they get the love and attention I would give them?" to "What can child care give my little one that I can't? Or can it even do so?" are part of the decision making process. Metzger made the decision easy. I hope you allow them to do so, too.
