7:00 - 8:00 Early Morning
Children arrive at staggered times. Wash hands, eat breakfast.
After breakfast the children wash their hands, use the bathroom & wash again. Infants are changed - hands washed & put down for their nap. Schoolagers get ready for school. The remainder of the children may make a choice such as: pretend play, stories, puzzles, coloring etc. Clean up. 8:00 - 8:30 Morning Activities Children enjoy free-play inside/outside weather permitting. Wash hands from outside. 8:30 - 9:30 Circle time: Days of the week, Weather, Months of the Year, Shapes, Songs etc. Pre-school Curriculum & Early Learning Literacy Program. Activity &/or Craft. Clean-up. 9:30 - 10:00 Bathroom breaks/change diapers; Hands washed, S PARK, Preschool Action Activities, Library Box, Finger Plays. Clean up. 10:00 - 11:00 Children enjoy free-play inside/outside weather permitting. Wash hands from outside. Clean up. 11:00-12:00 Midday Children wash their hands and enjoy lunch. After lunch, wash hands. Bathroom breaks/change diapers - Hands washed. Children enjoy free-play inside/outside weather permitting. Wash hands from outside. 12:00-12:15 Preparation for nap. Story-time 12:15-2:30/3:00 Nap time or quiet activities. Children nap, rest, or choose quiet activities. Children wake up at staggered times. As the children wake up, they use the restroom and diapers are changed. Hands are washed. Sleeping mats are disinfected and put away. 2:30-3:30 Afternoon Snack Children have snack together. School agers return from school wash hands use the bathroom wash hands and have snack, wash hands after snack. Children discuss choices for afternoon activities. 3:30-4:30 Afternoon Activities Activity (if planned), free play inside/outside. Wash hands from outside. Children may play with table toys, building books, puzzles, games, pretend play, playdough, draw, color, read etc. Bathroom breaks & change diapers. Hands washed. Parent information is made ready.
