Little Poppy's Preschool

Owned and Operated by prior Oregon State Certified Child Care Provider of 41 years, who is transitioning to a private preschool for ages 2-5 years. While our head teacher has a degree in Early Childhood Education, and has worked with children for 6 years on the job. Our second teacher successfully owned and operated her own Oregon State Registered Daycare for 10 years. When the pandemic began in 2020 she closed her doors, but continued working with children totaling 15 years of experience. Together we have joined forces to create a welcoming, encouraging, and safe environment to ensure you and your preschooler have a fantastic beginning to their classroom experience.



Little Poppy's uses a child centered approach. Our focus is on creating opportunities for children to use their natural curiosity to lead them through discovery, imagination, questioning, learning, and growing. We keep our days semi-structured to allow for exploration of space, socialization, and development of language skills. We prepare children to excel in kindergarten with a solid educational foundation. Children who have participated in our programs are thriving in elementary school and beyond.
