Our mission at Little Journeys Academy is to offer quality, affordable, flexible, and safe child care for all children from eight weeks through five years of age, while providing peace of mind for the parents of every child.

Our goal is to provide a safe environment for children, one where they can grow and learn. We believe that educators play an important role in the development of all children and we aim to guide your child to become an effective learner. Communication between staff and parents is very important so we strive to develop a sense of trust and partnership between parents, children and staff.

Little Journeys Academy offers a developmentally appropriate, educational curriculum for infants through pre-K. We focus on social and emotional development as well as physical movement and creative expression. Our programs integrate hands-on activities, imaginative play and real life experiences which foster learning at each age level. We believe that play is work for young children, allowing them to develop a meaningful understanding of the world around them. Our staff, experts in early childhood development and education, observe and evaluate each child's learning, behavior, progress and adjustments. Through encouragement, staff help each child develop his own pattern of interests and talents.
