We know what it is like to hand the care of your loved one over to a caregiver. In 2013, we needed someone to care for our dad. We were blessed with three different wonderful caregivers. Our caregivers became our family. In fact, two or them are Caregivers for Legacy Senior Care.
We pride ourselves in hiring the most trustworthy and compassionate caregivers in Middle Tennessee. We are licensed and insured. Our Caregivers pass background and reference checks to ensure that your family is safe.
Whether you need daily or weekly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery or rehabilitation, we can provide an individualized care plan. Services include: meal preparation, hygiene, cleaning, assistance with toileting, medicine assistance, visits to Dr.'s offices, social outing, companionship and more. We will take the time to know your loved one and develop a personal care plan that fits their needs.
Legacy Senior Care Services:
Physical Disability Support: Arthritis, physical disabilities and age related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent individuals from caring for themselves. Our Caregivers can assist you with daily tasks such as mobility, bathing, eating and more.
Respite Care: Family caregivers deserve and should take time off from caring for their loved one. Our Respite Care services allow you to rejuvenate and refresh physically, mentally and emotionally while a Caregiver takes care of your loved one.
Post Surgical Assistance: Recovering from home after surgery or illness can limit you with your daily activities. Whether you are recovering from major surgery, illness, child birth or plastic surgery, our caregivers can assist you to a healthy and complete recovery.
Caregiving for Children and Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities: Whether you need respite care while you go on vacation, a business trip or just an afternoon or night off, we can help. We can provide care for children and adults with special needs. Our Caregivers can provide meal preparation, companionship, assistance with bathing, trips to Dr.'s appointments, and fun activities around the city and more.

I am a caregiver, and the owner of this company has been working hard for the clients, as well as the caregivers. She is Awesome intouch with the phone her response to a question is prompt. She visits client in the hospital bringing flowers or food of their choice. This company always goes beyond their own needs to meet the clients and caregivers needs and wants.

I highly recommend this company if your needing quality, reliable, and trustworthy care for your loved one! Legacy senior care is owned and managed by the most caring people I've ever met. This company has been built on love, compassion, and most of all integrity and provides that for clients as well as employees. I've been an employee since 2019. Carole Carter and Legacy Senior care is by far the best company and person I've ever been employed by. She goes above and beyond for clients and her employees!

Im a former employee of legacy. Im horrified at how i was treated as an employee. They do not place you properly. They also do not pay properly. I had to fight to get paid for 76 hours that i worked, only to get a respinse on dec.23, that carole carter was busy at a holiday party. It took over a week of text messaging to get paid. She also.placed me in a situation where i could not accomodate the client and she knew that. She just didnt want to say no to an incoming client fearing loss of money. I would NEVER use this agency. Im not the only employee that has been screwed. The labor dept, medical review board and the bnb is notified. Had no choice but to give 1 star in order to write this review. Very poorly run agency.

I cannot say enough good things about the support that the caregivers at Legacy Senior Care provided to my mother. What distinguishes them from other caregivers is that they truly care about the person. They are incredibly patient with older adults who may not be as fast as they once were. My mother started with 8 hour-a-day care and graduated to 24 hour-a-day care as her abilities declined until she finally passed away. They provided all of the services that she needed so that she could remain in her home. And Legacy Senior Care was very easy for me to work with from another state. They kept me posted on her condition which was so critical to me as they saw her every day. When I did visit I observed the way that they supported her and was very impressed. I can recommend them without reservation to care for a senior loved one.
