Professional Nanny

After raising two amazing children of my own, and a long career as a hair stylist( which I had to leave due to chemical allergies), I answered an ad in 2013 to be a nanny for a 3-month-old little girl. I was her nanny until she started daycare when she was 26-months-old. During that time I was also part of a nanny share with another family with a 6-month-old little boy and his 3-year-old brother. I love being a nanny and helping families, and enjoy all aspects of child care and development! I then opened a daycare in my home in March, 2017. I was at full capacity within 1 month! While challenging, I thoroughly enjoyed caring for six kiddos from 6 months to 4 years. This last spring, we sold our home and moved to the wonderful city of Nashville! Since arriving I have worked for two families with infants in a nanny share. I'm most passionate about caring for infants. Specifically, I'm adept at working with parents to establish a healthy eat, play, and sleep pattern for their babies.

We had the pleasure of hiring to Lori watch our son as part of a nanny-share with another boy his age. She cared for our son from the time he was 8 months old until he was about 17 months old. Lori was very punctual and never missed work for any reason. She has a lot of experience with babies and has their safety at the forefront of her mind. We did not hesitate to leave our son with her, as we knew he would be well cared for. She also brought books for him that she thought he may like. She respected our requests for no screen time and was engaged with the boys throughout the day. We would absolutely re-hire Lori and recommend her for anyone looking for a safe, responsible caregiver for their little one.

Experienced Nanny

(8)
My name is Liz, and I am an experienced nanny. I specialize in twins and single babies as well. My passions in life is caring for children in the home. I have been working with babies for 13+ years as a night and day nanny. I have cared for a set of preemie twins at 2 weeks old up until they where 4 months and a set of twins that I went to Vanderbilt Hospital and met them at a week old in the NICU unit and went home with them, I stayed with them until they where 8 months. I have worked with many families and I would love to help more. The families that I have worked with love that I am reliable, clean, experienced, a multitasker and, most importantly, I love their babies as if they were my own. I come in and help get the babies on a sleeping and feeding routine, and I provide daily enrichment opportunities such as exercises to promote physical development, walks in the neighborhood, reading and music. I am happy to help with transport to dr apptmts., etc.

Ms Liz joined our family when my son was 16 weeks old and has been an absolute blessing since day one. I was a first time Mom and first time nanny employer returning to work full-time. She provided invaluable guidance on all the "firsts"- feeding real food, sleep training, nap scheduled, diaper rash, safety, sick baby, walking etc. you name it. Impeccable hygiene and she always leaves any space better than she found it. My son will be starting a church preschool program so sadly we've had to let her move on to her next baby. I trust her inherently and would hire her all over again in a heartbeat. We will miss her dearly!
