About Cassandra

I have lived in Nashville for 3 years. I moved here after graduating from the University of Delaware where I earned my M. Ed in elementary education, ESL and Special Education. I have taught elementary special education for 3 years full time, but have been considering a role with more flexibility (i.e. child care/tutoring) Prior to beginning my career in education I have years of experience with child care dating back to being a 'mothers helper' starting at age 13. I babysat everyday after high school, have experience as a summer camp counselor, have nannied for families over the summers, and even created, organized & ran a COVID summer camp for a small group of children. My main priority is assisting parents, maintaining children's safety and having fun! I am currently employed teaching full time M-F but I am available for evenings, date nights and weekends with notice. I love cooking, swimming, reading, playing games, doing crafts and outdoor activities!
