About Olivia

I have always felt a strong connection with kids. They are creative, fun-loving, energetic! As someone who grew up with ADHD, I am passionate about being understanding and patient and tailoring my approach to the child's individual needs. I currently work at an Elementary School as a substitute teacher/paraprofessional and am looking to nanny over the summer. I will be available between May 26th and August 14th. I started working in childcare 3 years ago as a babysitter here in Nashville. Then I worked as a rock climbing instructor and a summer camp counselor. After graduating college, I had a few temporary nanny positions while teaching piano lessons, before I started working for Metro Nashville Public Schools. I use an empathetic, connection based discipline style. I am more than comfortable with maintaining boundaries but I always prioritize kindness and connection. I teach piano and am happy to provide musical education or to help transport to extracurricular activities!
