The purpose of Hillcrest United Methodist Church Preschool is as follows: To provide a Christian environment that is age appropriate and designed to help the children feel loved and secure while away from family and home. We strive to help children have happy first school experience and enhance each child's self-esteem by providing an educational program which considers the developmental needs of each child in all emotional, mental, and social areas.
Hillcrest Preschool is a non-profit ministry of the church and is operated on a self-supporting basis from registration and monthly tuition. It is governed by a board, which consist of church member and parents. We are licensed by the state of Tennessee Department of Human Services. Therefore, our staff receives the appropriate early childhood education and training required each year.
