OBJECTIVES: As children grow in my care, it is my hope they will gain: *New skills (progress) across major areas of development including: Social and Emotional, Language and Communication, Cognitive and Physical and Motor. *The ability to socialize - get along with other children, share, contribute, etc. (I truly believe every child should have a "group experience" - i.e., daycare.) *A sense of security in an environment separate from their parents. *Confidence, with the understanding it's okay to be themselves, freely explore and play with peers. After 8+ years of working full-time out of the home (with three young children of my own: 9, 4 and 1), I left my marketing job to pursue family child care. Seeing young minds and friendships develop is gratifying to me. Doing daycare energizes and fulfills me, and is a calling I couldn't ignore!
