Hello! I'm Carissa, a Mother of 3! And I know how difficult it is to search for a trust-worthy person to care for your child/children. For me, being a stay-at-home mother is a Blessing.
I have opened our home to care for up to 4 children, ages 1-8. Ihave over 18 years experience with children of all ages. I have helped care for my siblings, cousins and other families' children as well. I will provide a positive, safe, clean, & nurturing environment where I can care for your child to your specific needs. I'm an experienced cook and I have the ability to provide balanced & nutritious meals. My child has severe peanut allergy & asthma, I know how to handle these situations. What sets me as unique and different from other childcare settings; unlike some at-home family day cares or facility, I have decided to have less children in my care. Reason being, too many children means less 1-on-1 time with each child. I am SafeServ Certified, I know how to properly handle food in the kitchen. I like to think out of the box when introducing my own children to new foods, I will make sure your child is eating home cooked, yummy & healthy meals. ComfyCouch Family Daycare is an at-home childcare, in a brand new neighborhood and newly built home. Cleanliness is very important to me. You'll see that my up keep of our home is to meet your standards. The setting of the daycare is more of a family home environment, to have your child feel comfortable and at home. Lastly, ComfyCouch Family Daycare has flexible hours to meet your needs. I believe that every child deserves to be in a safe environment at all times; even more so when parents are away from their children. We have been blessed in the past to have had the pleasure of entrusting the care of our children with some of the kindest and honest people we've met. Through these previous daycare experiences our children were able to learn and grow in a healthy social environment. Now I have the opportunity to pay it forward through ComfyCouch Family Daycare. We'll be playing a huge part in providing the right environment for your child to thrive in.
