Classical Art & Science Academy

The OWL Summer Camp at the Classical Art & Science Academy is open to children between the ages of 6 and 11. This year, our program is divided into three major: The Thinkers, The Adventurers, and the Artists. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the students will focus on their major subjects: math, science and chess for Thinkers, geography, astronomy and technology for Adventurers, and music, art and theater for Artists. Children may pick different majors on different weeks. On Tuesdays and Thursdays all students will participate in shorter classes from all majors. After morning classes and lunch on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, students will venture out for Fun in the Park time, which will feature various athletic activities, pool time and available tennis classes. On Tuesday afternoons/early evenings, students will have the unique opportunity to in Microsoft Store technology workshops for children. This fun and educational experience will teach children to use various software and technology and will challenge their creativity and imagination with such activities as dancing, digital photography, animation and film making. Weekly Thursday field trips include Allandale Farm, the Armory Museum, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Museum of Science, Hayden Planetarium, Horseback Riding, the IMAX Theater, the New England Aquarium, Larz Anderson Antique Car Museum, Six Flags New England, Water Country and Whale Watching
