Looking for a companion/caregiver for our 28-year-old daughter with cerebral palsy. Our immediate need is for Saturday's, but we are happyto speak to those with varying availability for other opportunities as well. She is smart, caring and laughs a lot! She is quadriplegic and non speaking, and yet she's bright with normal cognition. She drives a motorized wheelchair with her head and speaks through a computer but is unable to move for basic personal care needs. She needs help with tasks like dressing, feeding, bathing, toileting, fixing her hair, etc. Although special needs experience is not required, it's a plus. Mostly, you need a willingness to work with someone who needs a lot of physical assistance.
