At Chestnut Childcare we are dedicated provide a fun, nurturing, and educational environment for all ages. Our large in home daycare has 1400 sf of play space and an edible play garden to ensure that everyone has plenty of room to play, explore, andlearn. All of our programs include hands on nature exploration, crafting, and nutritious vegetarian meals. A significant portion of this food is grown and tended by the kids in our organic garden. Our program is facilitated by a retired paramedic with a background in dance, yoga, and singing. She is also a former world champion power lifter that has a passion for healthy nutrition and lifestyle. It is co facilitated by a lady who has a background in visual arts and is constantly improving her knowledge of primitive living skills including shelter building, nature awareness, wild foraging and fiber crafts such as weaving and net making.
