An Atlanta area instrumental music camp that focuses on developing the playing technique of students through the study of musical scales, songs and etudes. The etude is a French term for a music study designed to strengthen the playing technique of the student. Our focus is also on refining performance skills and allowing the students to get a good understanding of music theory as the foundation of superior musicianship. Field trips are included to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra as well as recreational activities such as swimming and daily recess. The camp is located at Headland Heights United Methodist Church in East Point, GA within the southwest Atlanta community. We average between one to two concerts every year and the students as well as the parents are pleased with their progress by the end of the two week camp!
