My state licensed day care home - Brookdale Home Day Care- provides a loving, nurturing and educational environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. After 12 years as a teacher and school administrator, I realized that the first years of learning arecrucial and wanted to make these first steps to education count by bringing teaching out of the classroom and into a home environment. I care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. My home is conveniently located near Route 59 Metra train station, PACE bus stops and I-88. I am Infant & Toddler CPR/AED/First Aid certified and an Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Professional Development System member and a participant in the Illinois Board of Education's "Child and Adult Care Food Program."
