Bridges: An Intergenerational Center is more than a child care center, it’s a place where meaningful relationships are built across generations.
We provide high-quality early childhood care and education for children ages birth to 5 in a warm,nurturing environment designed to feel safe, intentional, and community-centered. What truly sets us apart is our intergenerational approach. We partner with local seniors and senior centers who volunteer regularly, forming genuine connections with our children through shared activities like reading, art, gardening, music, and everyday conversation. These interactions foster empathy, confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of belonging in our little ones, while bringing purpose and joy to older adults. <br/>Health and safety are foundational to everything we do. Unlike many centers, we do not use harsh chemicals or bleach in our building. Instead, we use EPA-certified Force of Nature, a powerful disinfectant and cleaner that is as effective as bleach but without toxic fumes or harmful residues. This allows us to clean and disinfect more frequently throughout the day without worrying about exposing children to dangerous chemicals.
