Aidas Home Daycare

I am an experienced daycare provider, with a medical field background. Certified in adult and child CPR as well as First Aid, and licensed by DCFS. I worked 11 years in a residential facility for developmentally disabled children and adults. During thelast two years I headed the literacy program teaching reading, writing, math, and computer skills. My home daycare is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The entire lower level of my home is dedicated to my daycare with a separate side entrance. The daycare is set up as a safe environment for your child, with childproof cabinets and doors. We have periodic fire drills as well as a fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide alarms located throughout the house. I have no pets and my home is smoke free. Through a caring, nurturing environment, I provide the building blocks for your child's development, education and socialization skills. With daily preschool activities for toddlers and preschoolers, I incorporate structure into play and learning. I include Spanish as well as computer time. Learning through play and exploration is equally important and is a major component of the daily routine. Weather permitting, your child will be able to enjoy play time in a safe, enclosed back yard. Healthy nutritious meals and nap time are scheduled but the daily routine is flexible to accommodate each child's stage of development. My daycare is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. I currently have two full-time openings available for children 15 months and over. References available.
