Mr. Dundore's Awesome Kids After School Music Program is an after school program in which kids, in addition to getting help with homework, learn about music. Learning is done in both individual and group settings. Students get to play instruments, perform, create their own music, make music crafts, music software and learn about music in a variety of ways.
Mr. Dundore, the director of the program, is a graduate from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a Masters in the Art of Teaching - Music, and the acclaimed Berklee College of Music, with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Professional Music, Magna Cum Laude.
In addition to his education, Mr. D. is the director of the JoeyDCares Rock Orchestra, a group who performs concerts for charity. This group has worked with many including JDRF, The Wounded Warrior Project, MS, the Nathan Chris Baker Foundation and local charities. This group has raised over $28,000 in charity since its inception in the fall of 2010.
For the past 10 years Mr. Dundore has been teaching in the Carroll County Public School system in various functions.
Mr. Dundore has been nominated as one of Carroll County's "Outstanding Teachers" multiple times.
