Amada Senior Care, Philadelphia - West Suburbs
614 Darby Road,
At Amada Senior Care, Philadelphia, our purpose is two-fold - provide compassionate non-medical in-home care for those in need and/or guide families through the many senior housing options available for assisted living and care homes. Healthcare professionals such as physicians, discharge coordinators and case managers look to Amada to help them navigate the complexities of the senior care system. We offer three types of services in the Philadelphia area for seniors and their families - Caregiver, Housing and Technology.
Caregiving - Amada's certified nursing assistants, medical assistants, and home health aides understand that in-home care isn't just about performing tasks on a to-do list. Accepting new limitations and opening your home to a stranger isn't easy. Our caregivers realize having compassion and possessing a genuine desire to connect with their clients is 'the' true talent and art of providing first rate companion care. In-home senior care services assist as needed in normal activities of daily living (ADL). Examples for ADL include bathing, toiling, dressing, meal preparation and feeding, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, shopping and driving a client to an appointment, the grocery store or just to visit a friend.
Housing - Amada has relationships with senior care and assisted living communities throughout the Philadelphia area. We offer extensive experience with long-term care insurance firms and their coverage plans, assisted living communities, board and care homes, senior care and adult family homes, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), Alzheimer communities, and veteran's programs. Every senior naturally has unique care needs and preferences. By offering care giving and placement services, we are ideally equipped to assist seniors in finding the local living arrangement for which he or she is best suited.
Technology - Amada's technology make it possible to mind your loved one from anywhere at anytime. Our app makes accessible daily activity and behavioral pattern reports by email, via the internet on a web-based 'dashboard,' or through a mobile phone. You prevent small problems from becoming larger based on real-time behavioral pattern observation. Amada is the first agency to build an online portal to keep busy families in touch. Custom designed, we call it 'Transparent.' Family members can log on with a password, day or night, and see exactly what duties our staff has performed.
