I am a very loving and dedicated mom of three and grandmother of four. I am looking to help teach and care for children as if they were my own (as my last child is now in 7th grade and I have home-schooled for the previous school year). I have (over the years) cared for children both long and short term, anywhere from newborns to junior high school age. I have over 20+ years of experience caring for children, as well as children with special needs. I have also enjoyed being a mother's helper, picking children up from school, picking up dry cleaning, etc. I enjoy teaching, reading and playing, while providing a nurturing, loving, pleasant, fun, safe environment for children. I believe in children having fun and being stimulated and challenged (not just TV watching). We take walks, go to the park, do crafts, visit the library to name a few of our activities. I have been an assistant to the youth leader, and Sunday school teacher for our local church. I volunteer yearly as an assistant to the business manager of my son's football team, also providing them with care, snacks, rides, encouragement and support. I believe in and encourage parents to drop by and check in on their children. I also ask that parents take the time to go over their children's activities and art projects they bring home, as we celebrate each child's achievements daily for a healthy, positive self esteem.

Christi M. says "Cecilia cared for our son from the time he was 7 months until he was 18 months. We only had to change providers because we moved closer to my work....

I have about 11 years of experience with children, and this is just in my professional life. I have three siblings with a 7 to 10 year age gap between me and them, who I started watching for my mother at the age of 10 years old. Professionally, I started babysitting for families on the weekends at the age of 15 years old, after I was between 16 years old and 17 years old I began working at a daycare center and I worked here for 5 years. In 2011 I got pregnant with my second child right after my mom was about to have her youngest child. So I decided to quit for the opportunity to stay home with my children and be able to watch my youngest brother who will be 4 years old in July. My son is 5 years old and my daughter is 3 years old. I then began taking families in as well and have been watching these three plus an additional 1 to 2 children for the past 5 years. I am graduating with my bachelors degree in Human Services with a concentration to children, marriages and families in May. I am currently looking for anyone who just needs summer care. We have an awesome summer schedule made, with all supplies included, and I can easily send the calendar over to anyone who is interested. I am looking for children around these ages so their learning skills, motor skills, etc. are all around the same speed. I have years and years of references available to anyone who wants them. Anyone I have worked for has become like family. I am still in touch with children who have now become teenagers, parents and families from when I worked at the daycare and also past co-workers and managers. The two families I currently stopped working for I stay in touch with and actually plan to take a little vacation to the city they are moving to sometime in the fall. We attend each others birthdays and keep in pretty close contact. Its more personal and an overall better experience when we get the opportunity to be close to our families. I do watch out of my own home and do have reliable transportation. I am looking forward to interviewing and meeting the children.

Hello there! As you can see in the pictures... I am more than a nanny! I can be both a friend and mentor for your child. I can help your child explore their imaginations, after all that's what nanny's are for right? I have experience with all ages and can turn any day into an imaginary adventure for your child. I am highly skilled in memorable curriculum and hands on outdoor activities. I have over 10 years of experience in caring for children, not including 2 years of unpaid volunteer work as a Sunday school teacher. I started as a Sunday school teacher at the age of 14 and fell in love with children. Here are a few fun facts about me: *I have organized and provided care for a summer camp for 4 consecutive years *I have all of my childcare certifications. I have enough to run a daycare, open one or consult, but for now, I am a traveling nanny that travels throughout the country to care for clients. *I am scared of bugs... but if your child is a scientist, we will dissect one together! [evil scientist laugh]. *I am confident that I am a die hard nanny, LOL! I love children and would love to care for yours. Thank you. I will talk to you soon. :)
