College Student Double Majoring In Mathematics And Computer Science

Hello, my name is Eric. I am a junior majoring in both Mathematics and Computer Science at Rollins College. I have been tutoring since high school. My senior year in high school I tutored a family friend in Calculus I. I met with him once a week and helped him complete homework and projects. Also, I was a writing consultant in my school's English department. This meant that I helped students work through difficulties and improve their English papers. Moving to college, I was a chemistry tutor for general chemistry I and II. I met with students twice a week in small groups and assisted them with homework and test preparation. This year I plan to be a lab assistant for intro to programming at Rollins. I have a diverse skill set and can assist students in many areas including mathematics, chemistry, English, and programming.

Ericwas an exemplary writing consultant in the high school writing center that I direct. His ability to connect with students at all ability levels is exceptional, his content knowledge is both accomplished and varied, and he is a skilled tutor. If I had a child who needed tutoring, Eric would be my first choice. As well as being a writing consultant, Eric took both of the senior honors classes that I teach. This shows that he went above and beyond; most students only take one of these classes. Because of his grades, the classes he took, and his many accomplishments, Eric earned the departmental award in English the year he graduated. As a high school teacher of over twenty years, I recommend Eric as a tutor without reservation.

Hi! My name is Lindsey. I'm a senior. I'm Red Cross, CPR and safe sitter certified. I'm an honors student and in the biomedical program. I am an aspiring Pediatrician and I am highly involved in volunteering at local elementary and middle schools. I regularly volunteer at camp- caring for children with cancer and their siblings. This summer I volunteered in Honduras caring for young children in several schools and spent time assisting at a children's cancer ward. I can clean, cook, help with homework, run errands and have my own car. I volunteer in my church's child ministry every week and have years of childcare experience. My availability is very flexible and I am available all Thanksgiving and winter break! I have open availability on weekends and after school care during the week! :)

Lindsey has been working for my family the past two months, helping with the care of my two children after-school. I am so thankful I found Lindsey on Care.com. She is consistently reliable, responsible and my kids have so enjoyed having her as their sitter. My kids have after school clubs that don't always run on routine schedules. And there have been a couple of days where I have needed to change the schedule and only been able to give 24 hours notice. Both times, Lindsey has been flexible and agreeable with the change. Its so helpful to know my kids are happy and being well taken care of when I cannot be there.
