Hands-on Care Needed For My Loved One In Fort Myers Beach

I need a hands-on care provider experience for my loved one in their 60s. Some light tidying up is involved. Some help needed with bathing. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Preferences for a caregiver who is CPR / first-aid trained. We are looking for someone to take over the evening shift Monday through Friday as well as the double shift on Saturdays. She is currently doing in home therapy with a physical therapist as well as an occupational therapist but still needs help getting up and down and with walking. She uses a walker full time. We are looking for someone who is kind and compassionate and has patience when dealing with the elderly. The position will not be available until Jan. 11th. My name is Travis. I have a spinal cord injury. I use a manual wheelchair and independent throughout the day. I am looking for someone that may be able to provide some assistance with transferring, light grooming, changing, assistance with meal prep, cleaning, and other around the house duties. Someone with some experience would be great, but not needed. I am able to help guide and train on anything. I am a smaller individual (makes transfers easier) and a very easy going guy. I typically need support in the mornings or evenings and can be flexible on the time to make it convenient on both of us. I am flexible on the wage, but plan to pay around $800 a month. I also plan to have nursing services so this would be just extra support to make things easier for me. Please let me know if you have any questions! preparation.

I need someone to sit/help my husband so I can leave or get things done, anywhere from 3-6 hours/visit. My husband is 62 years old and has Parkinson's disease. He has limited mobility and depending on the day will use a walker or on a bad day uses a wheelchair. You may need to help him with some limited personal care, possibly a meal or snack or just be a companion. There could be some light housekeeping. He has balance issues, bad knees and is a big guy (270 lbs), so you will need some strength. Often he needs a boost to get up to use his walker. For safety reasons it may be necessary to help steady him as he walks. Occasionally he may need help to get to the bathroom or he might use a urinal where he's at, again it depends on the day and his strength. My schedule is flexible. I am willing to work with the right person for the job. TY
