$12 – 15/hr
My mom is 76 and in the late stages of dementia/Alzheimer's. She's still mobile and in good physical health, but stopped talking a few years ago. We're looking for someone who can drive to our home in west Cary and work an 8-hour shift 3-4 times a week. The hours will be from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and the days will most likely be Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Therefore, approximately 24-32 hours per week at a firm, $15/hr (paid in cash weekly).
Primary responsibilities are to feed her (breakfast, lunch, snacks), give her meds, take her to the bathroom and change her diaper, give her a shower every morning, talk to her and interact with her (play a game, color, watch TV). Additional responsibilities are to take her for a 15-30 minute walk outside when the weather is nice (inside if not), change bed sheets, and do laundry 1 day a week.
